Produce Safety Rule
Section 69-1-56 (PDF) Passed into law in 2018 giving the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce (MDAC), in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the regulatory authority to develop and administer a Produce Safety Rule Program consistent with the requirements outlined in the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule (PSR).
