The Mississippi State Fairgrounds are located in Jackson, Mississippi. The annual Mississippi State Fair begins the first Wednesday in October each year and runs for twelve days.
The Mississippi State Fair is one of the South’s major fairs averaging over 600,000 attendance annually. The mile-long midway, free entertainment, livestock shows, carnival rides, and 120,000 sq. ft. of exhibits are the main attractions.
